Indian Motorcycle confirms IRF27 — and the festival goes beyond the lake
Indian Motorcycle has confirmed its continued support for Indian Riders Fest, and the dates for the seventh edition are fixed: 17–20 June 2027, at Lipno nad Vltavou.
The announcement follows IRF26, which brought nearly 5,000 participants from 46 countries to the lake for the 125th anniversary of Indian Motorcycle. The Saturday Parade Ride ran a symbolic 125 km with an estimated 1,000 to 1,200 motorcycles in a single column stretching 18 kilometres through South Bohemia.
What changes in 2027
For the first time, the festival goes beyond the shores of Lipno.
A drag strip on an airfield brings a new location and a different kind of riding to the programme. A road-book rally invites riders to discover South Bohemia at their own pace rather than in a column — the same landscape the parade crosses, ridden alone or in small groups.
The Budweis Custom Show returns AMD-approved, still the only international custom bike show dedicated entirely to Indian Motorcycle, and open to European builders and Indian Motorcycle dealers.
Saturday night gains a third band. The closing concert runs longer than it has in any previous edition.
What stays
The parade stays. The concerts every evening stay. The Wall of Death, the demo rides, the exhibitors' village and the extended food and beverage area on the lake terraces — all of it stays.
The theme for 2027 is Ride the Legend.
Quotes
"Every year we look at how we can make this a better event for the riders who come," said Jean-Marie Guyon of Legendary Productions. "In 2027 we're taking the festival off the lakeside for the first time. The parade and the village stay exactly as they are — we're adding roads, not replacing anything."
"The growth of the IRF has been impressive, and it has become a highlight of the event calendar outside of North America," said Christophe Thevenet, Director of International Sales for Indian Motorcycle. "It's the riders that make everything possible."
Tickets
The IRF27 Riders Pack is available now at €147 until 31 October 2026. From 1 November the price rises to €167, and Riders Pack orders close on 31 March 2027 so the contents can be produced in time.
Accommodation with official partners Landal Marina Lipno and Korzo Lipno is booking now — both within walking distance of the festival grounds.
Indian Motorcycle EMEA published the full press release on 14 September 2026. Read the original announcement →
