About the second IMRG European meeting

After Riom (France) in 2018, we will meet in České Budějovice (Budweis), Czech Republic in June 2019

The Czech Republic is comprised of three historical regions: Bohemia, Moravia, a part of Silesia and is divided into several districts.

Czechs like to think of their country as “the bridge between East and West”. It is geographically located in the centre of Europe and borders four other countries: Poland to the north, Germany to the north and west, Austria to the south, and Slovakia to the east.

Expo Hall main event location

Exhibition area. Rich history and tradition for the last 57 years.

Half of a century ago there was only a underflooding green field where time to time Vltava river has overflown. With some imagination also a perfect place for a brand new exhibition area not far from the historic city centre of České Budějovice. Sufficiency of free area was the last argument. In March 1960 the building was started and during following years the wetland became the centre of exhibitions in South bohemian region.

The area is set as forest park with open exhibition space and 27 exhibition pavilions built around asphalt roads around central axe. The area itself is all the year around full of green vegetation, nice roads and hard surface places. So, it is very suitable for exhibitions, drinking beer, parking Indian motorcycles, burn outs, enjoying of live music, pole dance and other popular activities. From the historic city centre the Exhibition are is just 1.5 km or 16 walking minutes away.
